A comprehensive range of standard tests can identify problems of increased component wear and contamination from moisture, diesel, dust or coolant. Standard tests are: - ICP elemental analysis (22 elements).
- Moisture Content.
- Fuel dilution of engine oil samples.
- Particle counter - ascertains the level of contaminates in non-engine samples according to an ISO standard.
- PQ analysis - ascertains the level of iron.
- FTIR analysis - ascertains levels of soot, oxidation, nitration and sulphur products in the oil.
- Viscocity - ascertains the viscocity at 40 degrees.
